map project
For this project we had to make a map. We had four points. So to start we had to walk the mapping area. We counted steps to each point. We also used compass to find which direction it was. When we got data, we had to convert ever step is 2 millimeter. When we got all the data, we had to draw the map. We had difficulties mostly because or map would not ''close''. But after a while we did our calculation again, and it made close. We also had to contour lines, to see where is deep or not. We also had to color it, so you could se diffrent areas.
Rube Goldberg
For the project we had to make a Rube Goldberg, the recruitment was that it had to have 15 steps, run 15 sec. The hight limited had to be 3 feet. We also had to a have final task. For my Rube Goldberg the final task was to turn Christmas lights on. We had to make a sketch up. Sketch up is a data program, where you can make rubes and other stuff. When our rube was done, we had to calculate 8 steps. Here is the caluclation our group did. https://docs.google.com/a/animashighschool.com/document/d/14NdY6lU6Y-lT1oZvHszOSeKG0fXmG6TGZx4PTw2n16U/edit
rocket project
Rocket log
Day 3. Glued the rocket together.
Day 4. Attached the nose cone to the racket.
Day 5. Making the fins and making the parachute.
Day 6. Attached the parachute to the rocket and gluing the fins to the rocket
Day 7. Launch the rocket for the first time
Day 8. Finished.

Rocket reflection
I came very late in to the ‘’rocket project’’ so I felt that I didn’t know, what was going on. But I really liked the final protect. The rocket launch was very good. I’m so glad that it didn’t blow up. The only thing that was bad was that the parachute didn’t deployed, but everything was good. I felt that rocket launch did almost perfect except from the parachute.
I think that our group worked well. Even though I came in very late in the group. I think that we worked well, but we didn’t have a plan. So I felt that are rocket was good. But we had some problem like our parachute, and our fins. The parachute didn’t deployed and the fins would attached to the racket. But we did solve the problems.
If I could change one thing I would problem change the parachute. I think that if we had spent more time with the parachute. It would be better and actually worked. If the parachute would work, then the launch would been better.
Conclusion
The rocket flow up 124, 82 m on the max height with an angle 67° and the hang time was 10.30 S. The average actual velocity by taking the max height by taking = 34.48 M/S. I found the 249 because 124.82*2. I multiply with 2 because the rocket goes up and down. I found the hang time by 2*T== =5.15*2 =10.30S, I found the 249 because 124.82*2. I multiply with 2 because the rocket goes up and down. The theoretical time 10,30sek and the actual time 7.24 and I used both of them to find the Percent error, the equation is = 0.7029*100=70.29% the reason the hang time was way higher is because the parachute didn’t deployed.
